What will you do with Jesus?

Listen to the Word of God by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:1-7

"Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received,

in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received:

that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried,

that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,

and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time,

most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.

Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles."

Romans 10:9 says,

"...if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord
and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Sharing the Good News

The gospel is the good news of what God has done for us through His son, Jesus. He created us in His image to rule the earth under His authority, but we preferred to be our own rulers and rebelled against God through Adam who represented us. Because of that, God brought about consequences, namely death & hell, for people who are rebels, which is all of us. But because God is loving, He didn’t forget us. Instead, He chose to remake everything through Jesus Christ, the eternal son of God who became man. Jesus was the one who lived the life we ought to have lived, and died the death we deserved to die so if we put our faith and trust in Him, turning from our sins and our rebellion, He remakes us new. He remakes our vision for the world and enables us to fulfill our calling in the world. Through Jesus, God is restoring everything.

Good News for Children

Jesus loves the little children. He called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God" (Luke 18:16).  This presentation of the gospel, carefully written for children and young readers, is based on the Two Ways to Live outline and illustrations. With simple, clear language, but concern for the sensitivity of younger children, it is ideal way to communicate the gospel with them.
